A small, hands-on playgroup for toddlers and their parents, inspired by Montessori principles and designed around toddlers’ growing drive for independence.
Across four sessions, we’ll explore practical life, sensory discovery, fine-motor skills and care of the environment — through simple, purposeful activities that support your toddler’s concentration, coordination, confidence and growing independence.
1 November · What Does It Feel Like?: Sensory Sorting & Matching: Explore colour, texture, size and matching through hands-on activities — and learn why repetition and following your toddler’s own interests are such important parts of early learning.
The four sessions are designed to build on one another, but also work as standalone workshops.
The group is intentionally kept small, so there is plenty of opportunity for questions, individual guidance and hands-on support. Activities will be adapted to the toddlers’ developmental stages, with a small selection of carefully prepared activities that children can explore at their own pace.
Each 45-minute session includes a Montessori-inspired activity, practical guidance for parents, relaxed time to connect with other families, and a short take-home summary with the key ideas and tips from the session. The sessions are held in English, with Christina available to translate or clarify in Danish whenever needed.
No previous knowledge of Montessori is required — just come as you and your toddler are.
Hosted by:
Annalisa Di Blasio: Montessori coach, bringing professional knowledge and practical guidance on how Montessori principles can be applied during the toddler years.
Christina Legarth-Lund: Montessori-trained mum of two boys (5 months and 2.5 years) and Islands Brygge local.
